Our client, one of the world's leading investment firms, focused on private equity, real estate, public debt and equity, growth equity, opportunistic, non-investment grade credit, real assets and secondary funds, all on a global basis.

Job Description: As a member of the Workplace Experience Team, you will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and improvement of the firm wide next generation user environment-but specifically focused on the endpoint. In this role you will provide advanced support on all laptop, desktop, software, and remote access issues as we modernize all aspects of our offerings. The ideal candidate will help determine the best solutions for our business needs, help identify gaps and shortcomings in current setups, and determine necessary path forward to create consistent and efficient systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, refine, and maintain a world class endpoint environment
  • Build efficient, resilient, and adequately documented systems to reduce operational overhead Architect and implement automation, ensuring a consistent, and reliable environment
  • Author design documents, Service Desk training documentation, facilitate peer review, and lead presentations to committees for approval
  • Effectively troubleshoot issues to resolution while embracing the culture of root cause analysis
  • Coordinate vendor escalations by acting as a bridge between support engineering resources and our client

Required Qualifications:
  • Has a passion for excellence and interested in growing technically, challenges status quo
  • Strong understanding of Windows 10 and Office 365
  • Experience with PowerShell, batch, VBScript, or other automation technologies
  • Strong understanding of modern management concepts using SCCM and/or Intune and Autopilot (image creation, driver management, software deployment, and patch management)
  • Experience implementing modern patch management practices for frequent operating system and application updates. For example, Windows 10 feature updates, Microsoft Office 365 update channels, and cumulative preview Windows Updates.
  • Support of Windows folder redirection, ideally to OneDrive
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft Group Policy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Managing workload using agile methodologies including sprints, including story points
