Visa is investing to build global solutions that help Fintech partners participate in our ecosystem. Join this fast-paced team to lead the Acceptance Fast Track program designed to accelerate the ambitions of distributors/payfacs/processors/sponsors and technology providers. Sitting across the Global Processing & Partner Solutions and the MS&A teams, this role will continue to drive Visa’s thought leadership (both internally and externally) in the Acceptance space, unite Fintech partner activities and products at Visa under a common umbrella, and build new programs and processes that enable Visa to be the leading payment partner of choice for emerging Fintech companies.

The successful candidate leading Acceptance Fintech Fast Track in the Latin America region will be expected to leverage a robust understanding of the Fintech ecosystem and engage with partners across Visa both functionally and regionally to ensure program success. Responsibilities include:

  • Understand and drive thought leadership to the evolving acceptance landscape and identifying companies that would be a good fit for our program and products.
  • Establish the program design to support the full array of Fintech players in realizing their ambitions, with a focus on Acceptance entities seeking to become Acquirers and 3rd-Party Agents seeking to become Acceptance Entities / Payment Facilitators.
  • Define and implement the minimum viable infrastructure needed to enable Acceptance Fast Track participants, including: the inbound application portal, marketing collateral, pre-defined commercial and non-commercial criteria
  • Solve key issues that relate to Fast Track, and Visa’s broader engagement with non-traditional players at large (e.g., licensing requirements, endpoint connectivity, payment facilitator & sponsor rules and requirements, enterprise and credit settlement risk requirements)
  • Ensure a seamless transition of partners passing through Fast Track by working with key stakeholders across Visa to develop criteria for handoffs to sales teams and other business units within Visa
  • Establish a set of Preferred Partners that can be matched to Fast Track participants to support them in achieving their goals and objectives (e.g. sponsors, issuer/acquirer processors)
  • Work alongside the issuer processor partnerships team to drive consistency across Fast Track Programs and establish scalable shared infrastructure and monitoring
  • Present program metrics, Fintech partner business performance, and thought leadership pieces regularly to executives

Qualifications

Basic 8 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 5 or more years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD Language skills – strong English and Spanish, written, and verbal skills. Portuguese a plus.

Preferred 9+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3+years of experience with a PhD Previous experience in payments and specifically payments processing preferred. Experience interacting with merchants, acquirers, tech partners and processors is a big plus Previous experience working with Fintech companies in the acceptance ecosystem Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to develop and tell a story Able to work independently, and with broad instructions Team player, willing to roll up their sleeves Adaptable to a variety of different work and projects Willingness to be a collaborative, active and outspoken participant in decision making Strategic and analytical thinker, able to move seamlessly from high level concepts to details and solutions with limited guidance Excellent project management skills – ability to manage complex timelines and multiple concurrent projects High attention to detail and demonstrated experience executing deliverables on schedule Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required

Travel Requirements:

This position requires the incumbent to travel for work up to 25% of the time.
