Microsoft Store on Xbox connects our fans with great games from these creators, allowing them to engage with the experiences that are right for them.The Stores Business Category Management team is looking for a Stores Partner Planner, Gaming Category that can drive growth in the digital gaming business by engaging with gaming publishers to optimize their business on the Microsoft Store. This individual would partner with several of our top publishers, building business plans to support their content in Microsoft Store and leveraging in-depth knowledge of their partners’ portfolio of products to provide insight, recommendations and advocacy on partner’s behalf to drive success. How you can make an impactBuild a deep understanding of your publisher’s portfolio of games in order to identify opportunities to drive base game acquisition, and to drive post-sale engagement and spending
Use your business knowledge, growth mindset, and self-directed nature to work with partners to build detailed joint business plans to improve and grow their performance on the Microsoft Store
Engage with content creators to understand and showcase their unique content to millions of gaming fans
Collaborate across teams to define and improve our partner planning strategy including crafting best practices, defining optimal planning cadence, and expanding our engagement with breadth partners
Foster a culture of inclusion as you engage in cross-functional meetings and interact with colleagues outside of Stores.
ResponsibilitiesCore ResponsibilitiesManage store relationship with 3 top publishers
Partner with publishers to build a business plan to support their content in Microsoft Store
Leverage data to provide insight and recommendations to drive partner growth
Obtain feedback from partners on opportunities and challenges and advocate to appropriate teams
Work tactically with Publishers on a day-to-day basis to optimize their business on Microsoft Store
Engage with centralized line of business teams to provide input into forecasting and rhythm of business
Troubleshoot offer configuration and other product issues for partners
Manage an aspect of all-up partner planning strategy and operations (e.g. large scale publisher engagement, monthly publisher engagement, breadth partner planning, or partner engagement operations)
QualificationsRequired Qualifications3+ years experience in retail, ecommerce, data science, research, marketing or business-related roles
OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Social Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 2+ years experience in retail, ecommerce, data science, research, marketing or business-related roles
OR Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Social Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in retail, ecommerce, data science, research, marketing or business-related
2+ years of ecommerce experience
Additional or Preferred Qualifications5+ years experience in retail, ecommerce, data science, research, marketing or business-related roles
OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Social Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 4+ years experience in retail, ecommerce, data science, research, marketing or business-related roles
OR Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Social Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years experience in retail, ecommerce, data science, research, marketing or business-related roles.
3+ years experience in go to market (GTM), marketing strategy, business planning, or similar roles.
3+ years experience in integrated, digital or product marketing management.
2+ years project/vendor management experience.
