We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Government Services team within Public Sector. Why should you join the Government Services team? This position will be focused on supporting the development, testing, deployment, documentation, and maintenance of the Linux infrastructure within the customer architecture. Other responsibilities include:
- Provide tier 2/3 support for Linux systems.
- Provide escalation-level technical support and system engineering for all Linux-based platforms
- Experienced with Linux, systems automation tools (Ansible), and systems architecture tools
- RedHat Satellite and Capsule server expertise.
- Be proficient supporting a distributed LINUX server and Database environment - Virtual and Physical.
- Experience with MariaDB and MySQL database products
- Implement, test and evaluate upgrades, review IAVA's and STIG's and remediate, and troubleshoot system issues.
- Support the design, development, test, and deployment of Linux based systems as required for new or upgraded functionality.
- Develop documentation as required to operationalize new or updated capabilities.
- Apply necessary security patches based on DoD STIG requirements.
- Upgrade code or operating system to remove software vulnerabilities.
- Ability to view current infrastructure and identify areas for improvement.
