Tartastic is a wholesale bakery currently seeking one or two reliable and skilled Drivers to join our team. Deliveries take place Tuesday through Saturday during the day, with established routes that start in Boca Raton. Monday is a not a delivery day, but a ingredient purchasing day. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service.
Duties
Safely operate a Ford Transit 250 van, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and safety protocols.
Responsible for loading and unloading of bakery boxes, ensuring proper handling of items, according to packing slip.
Execute route driving efficiently to deliver baked goods timely and in excellent condition.
Purchasing of ingredients at various locations along the route.
Communicate effectively with appropriate coworkers regarding any issues or delays encountered during routes.
Adhere to company policies regarding vehicle maintenance and cleanliness.
Experience
Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Familiarity with route driving in South Florida and handling practices is essential.
Preferably Bi-lingual, fluent English is a must.
Ideal candidates will be available to start paid training within the next few days to two weeks and start by April 1, 2025.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week for full time, or 6 - 8 hours part time.
