Ledgent Technology is seeking a

Database Administrator who will act as the technical resource for all aspects of Data Integrity, Reporting, and Mobility across an enterprise and continually recommend, develop, and implement data driven solutions.

This is a direct hire opportunity with a

hybrid work schedule located in Kendall, Florida.

The ideal candidate should primarily be knowledgeable in:
  • MS Dynamics / Great Plains or a comparable ERP.
    • There is intention to move away from Great Plains 2018 to something more robust
  • MS SQL Server / SSRS
  • SmartConnect (DTS) and Extender
  • Python is a plus

What you will be doing:
  • Act as manager and technical resource for all aspects of Data Integrity, Reporting, and Mobility across the enterprise and continually recommend, develop, and implement data driven solutions.
  • Create and maintain integration points between Microsoft Dynamics / Great Plains 2018 and MTS iTraycer using custom SQL stored procedures, ETL, and DTS (SmartConnect) software.
  • Manage integrations of peripheral hardware and software to enhance existing backend ERP System, Microsoft Dynamics / Great Plains.
  • Manage all aspects of MS SQL Server database administration and maintenance including performance monitoring and tuning including SSRS reporting environment.
  • Ongoing design and development of the Data Warehouse.
  • Report development and distribution including ad hoc reporting. Validating data for accuracy for executive level reporting. Using tools such as Power BI, Excel refreshable, and SSRS.
  • Maintain Python Scripts to transform and deliver data in Excel files to distributors.
  • Responsible for complete oversight of the Microsoft Dynamics / Great Plains ERP environment and any third-party ISVs tools/bolt-ons.
  • Maintain Python scripts and Excel refreshable to send micro-targeted sales and commissions reports that are sent on a weekly basis to over 400 distributors.
  • Serve as technical project lead for any enhancement to Great Plains 2018. This including managing testing procedures. Updating all integration points while solving for backward compatibility and making sure all data points were accessible, especially reporting.
  • Support the production data environment and serve as point of contact for any off-hour issues that may arise through to resolution.
