Ledgent Technology is seeking a
Tier 2 Point of Sale (POS) Support Technician. The position requires in-depth knowledge in one or several areas of POS products.This is a 6-12+ month contract opportunity with expected extensions and possible conversion.Medical, Dental and Vision benefits offerings are included with this contract.This position is an on-site opportunity located in Miami, FL. What you will be doing:- Supports restaurant network/telecom hardware and software.
- Documents in a call tracking system
- Handles cases escalated from Tier 1 as well as communicates status on Severity 1 issues as necessary.
- Provides world-class service to customers in an accurate, efficient, and professional manner.
- Responds to routine and complex customer inquiries via the telephone and e-mail.
- Primary focus is on providing assistance and advanced troubleshooting regarding service delivery, installation, outages, component level problems, and other technical issues.
- Due to complexity of issues and possible sources of problems, the position requires frequent research, exhaustive troubleshooting, and customer follow-up to ensure proper resolution.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of help desk experience supporting POS software and systems
- Demonstrated customer-focused, service-first attitude
- Some understanding of SQL.

- POS Software Support
- PC Hardware
- POS hardware
- SQL
- Wiring
- Network
- Wi-Fi
- Experience supporting restaurant technology
- Experience supporting Xpient IRIS Point of Sale software
- Experience with supporting POS credit card terminals
