(US01) Location: Naples, FL PLEASE SUBMIT A DEMO REEL OF YOUR WORK Main Objective: Produce high-quality video content for Medical Education, Product Management, Marketing, Human Resources and other departments. Develop projects and oversee the entire creation process. Lead a team of Videographers to supervise on a task level for coordinated team efforts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Production
    • Meet with stakeholders to discuss the messaging and determine the project scope and requirements
    • Formulate creative direction for projects and productions
    • Translate corporate and medical education content requests into a production plan for the media production team to execute
    • Research and recommend equipment, crew, talent, and coordination needed for both in-house and off-site media productions
    • Collaborate with the Production Coordinator to prepare production schedules, crew requirements, and available resources
    • Align the financial and design aspects of a production with the department and company goals
    • Develop scripts for media and initiate shot lists with production team
  • Production
    • Evolve knowledge of media production tools and best practices to continuously improve quality standards and efficiencies
    • Learn and understand the capabilities of in-house camera systems, lenses, filters, control heads (manual and remote), mounts and rigs as well as all microphones, monitors, and recorders
    • Commit the production team to thoroughly test production equipment prior to a shoot, including white balance, lighting levels, camera exposure and monitor audio levels throughout a production
    • Determine strategies and formulate ideas during the production process for scheduling, cinematography, lighting, and performances
    • Direct on-screen talent to ensure content will be delivered in a way that engages audience and meets Arthrex quality standards
  • Post-Production
    • Coordinate and collaborate with Arthrex partners to produce high-quality digital media that educates our audiences
    • Evolve knowledge of post-production tools and best practices to align with Media Production goals
    • Develop written standards and guidelines for consistent corporate identity for all team members
    • Review production footage for quality control
    • Propose ideas during the post-production processes to ensure the vision of a project is preserved
    • Collaborate with the Post-Production Supervisor to guide the post-production process, including an assets overall tone, music choice, editing, and special effects
    • Survey projectstatuses using Media Production and Arthrex product management tools
    • Maintain all files in the digital asset management system
  • Misc.
    • Connect regularly with the project stakeholders and the marketing project coordinators to ensure all projects stay on track, within budget, and meet assigned deadlines
    • Collaborate with Media Production management to interview and hire videographers and production specialists
    • Mentor production team in leadership and production approach
    • Set goals and objectives for team members and act as a visionary and coach
    • Communicate regularly with Media Production management on project developments and statuses
    • Must be able to travel up to 20% of the time
    • Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelors Degree or 5+ years of related experience required
  • 3 years of experience working in Adobe CC required
  • Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is preferred
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
  • Ability to work well with a variety of team members to represent the design viewpoint effectively in a collaborative work environment
  • Expert-level video production language skills to communicate cinematography and direction on-set
  • Expertise in shepherding an original concept to a final delivery that meets or surpasses expectations
  • Researches and stays current on the developments and applications of state-of-the-art video production technology
  • Communicates effectively with individuals and groups
  • Must be flexible and possess the ability to balance the management of multiple projects simultaneously
  • Consistently meets or exceeds deadlines and manages multiple priorities
  • Capacity to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
  • Initiative, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills: The position requires expert-level production and post-production knowledge to communicate tasks and ideas to professionals using Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and the Macintosh and Windows operating systems. The role also requires an in-depth understanding of audio-visual equipment, including professional camera systems, lighting equipment, microphones, mixing consoles, video routers and switchers, and video transmission systems.
