Main Objective: Arthrex, a growing medical device manufacturer, is expanding their Software Quality Assurance team. We are looking to hire two experienced Software Quality Assurance (Test) Analysts in our IT Division with the responsibility of testing custom developed applications. The SQA Analyst III roles will be part of a dynamic software test team with established standards and processes in place supporting best practices in both manual and automated testing of new feature enhancements, patches, and fixes. The SQA Analysts are expected to have strong skills in testing custom developed applications (.net or other) and will lead offshore testers as well as perform all aspects of test design and test execution. One opening requires leading the testing for a custom developed sales portal that integrates with SAP ECC (Sales & Distribution, Finance). Experience with SAP SD/FI (or equivalent ERP experience) is preferred. One opening requires leading the testing for a suite of custom developed applications along with test tool administration responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead testing projects, especially medium to large projects, thus being responsible for all test planning and reporting activities and ensure Arthrex SQA standards and procedures are followed
  • Apply test methodology, as well as business process and application knowledge, in the design of tests and testing strategies.Based on business and functional requirements, identify testing scenarios and develop test cases to include test objective, pre-requisites, test steps, and expected results
  • Execute planned and exploratory testing to assure the quality of an applications usability, functionality, security, and performance; Document actual test and defects
  • Lead and oversee test automation activities for products assigned, including understanding the Selenium automation framework, developing scripts, and planning for the execution and maintenance of automation scripts
  • Support test tool administration SpiraTest, HP ALM
  • Troubleshoot support tickets
  • Provision new projects and user access
  • Support/maintain integrations to other development tools (Azure DevOps, Salesforce) and work with internal DevOps personnel

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field required
  • Minimum five years of experience in Software Quality Assurance performing UI, Functional, and Regression testing of packaged,custom developed (.Net/Java),and mobileapplications isrequired
  • Experience with testing business applications running on web,client server, and mobileplatformsrequired, including performance of OS and browser compatibility testing
  • Experience in testing emergency application defects in production systems, system patches, maintenance releases, enhancement releases, and implementations of new applicationsrequired
  • Experience with using SolMan, SpiraTest, Zephyr Scale or equivalent Test Management tool required
  • Experience in leading testing projects and coordinating and managing tasks of team members

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
  • Working knowledge of the Software Development Life cycle and SQAs role in it through proven explanation of the process
  • Solid understanding of programming languages andseveraltechnologies including relational databases, SQL and XML/JSON
  • Demonstrated problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills. High attention to detail and accuracy
  • A customer service orientation
  • Proficiency in the English language demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • ISTQB Foundation Level certification (CTFL) preferred

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills: PC servers, workstations and laptops. Microsoft environment. Work with standard current computer applications, such as word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
