Database DeveloperVolt is seeking a proactive and innovative database professional that is proficient in Microsoft Access database development, including the creation of tables and custom queries, to support our clients Air Quality Program at Eglin AFB in air emissions calculations, inventory management and regulatory reporting and recordkeeping. Experience with Air Force/DOD, APIMS, EESOH-MIS and Oracle is desired, but not required. This position is responsible for executing the monthly capture, QA and upload of usage data for nearly 2,000 air emission sources at Eglin AFB from multiple data stewards and organizations. Data is collected and submitted in multiple formats, including an export from an Oracle db (with web-based data entry front ends), spreadsheets and word files. The individual in this position obtains data from the multiple data sources on a monthly basis, uploads into it into a custom database to perform QA, validation andconsolidation via approximately 30 existing custom queries. Resulting consumption data is then transferred to APIMS (a web-based Air Force data system) and emissions calculations are performed. Results are then exported to the custom database for QA and validation. At any point in the process,this position is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise regarding missing data or data quality, including air emission inventory of pieces of equipment and data received from EESOH-MIS. This position uses the finalized monthly data uploads and calculations to create and execute custom queries in support of required annual data reporting for the Eglin AFB Air Program and ad hoc data requests. This position works onsite at Eglin AFB and requires robust coordination and communication with the government Air Program Manager, the Air Quality Compliance AssistanceTeam contractor, multiple data stewards and the Client Air Permitting engineer. Required skills: Microsoft Access (creation of tables and custom queries). Ability to work in a cross-functional team environmental with minimal daily direct oversight.Desired skills:Experience with Air Force/DODexperience with Air Quality data, APIMS, EESOH-MIS and Oracle.
