Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are seeking a diligent Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in the Health Pharm/Biotech industry located in Oldsmar, Florida, 34677, United States. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including invoice management, vendor communication, and payment processing. This position is a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Ensure efficient and accurate processing of credit applications from customers Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records Address and resolve customer inquiries promptly Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action Manage the receipt and matching of incoming invoices Accurately input invoice codes into the system Obtain necessary approval for invoices prior to processing Respond to vendor inquiries promptly and professionally Prepare checks for payment on a weekly basis Assist in the processing of 1099 payments Use Great Plains Accounting and Excel for various tasks. Requirements Proficiency in Account Coding is mandatory for this role. Extensive experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required. Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) processes is necessary. Proficiency in using Great Plains Accounting software is expected. Advanced skills in Excel are essential for this position.
