Oldsmar, Florida Hiring Manager: Afton Eakins SHIFT SCHEDULE : CANDIDATE NEEDS TO BE AVAILABLE FOR EITHER SHIFT DURING TRAINING. After training is completed, this candidate will be assigned to Shift B. Shift A: 5AM-1:30PM Shift B: 2PM-10:30PM ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ensure that quality is the highest priority and methods used ensure that customer satisfaction is met to the highest extent possible Understand the relevance and importance of activities and how they contribute to the achievement of the quality objectives Follow all company, ISO, quality and safety policies and procedures Essential Duties: Read and understand procedures and instructions associated with the quality department Pick up stock orders and filled orders from production Pull stock accordingly and update the stock inventory spreadsheet Coordinate orders to meet shipping date deadlines Verify the customer PO matches the invoice Verify lot codes on the invoice match the cylinders Enter lot codes correctly on the invoice for stock items Calibrate H2S sensors and document calibration Test H2S and document the results on the invoice Pull regulators from stock, set lpm (if required) Accurately enter the appropriate information on the certificate of analysis for each lot code and attach in QuickBooks Clean and organize work area Notify supervisor when supplies are needed Label and/or tag products and packages appropriately Other Responsibilities: Willing to be cross-trained and move to other areas as needed as well as all areas of shipping Assure daily work schedule is completed Work as a team and maximize productivity and efficiency Other duties as assigned by management Physical Environment/Working Conditions: Factory which could involve sitting, standing, walking and lifting cylinders of varying shapes and weights for long periods of time throughout the day Equipment and Machinery: Gas Testing Equipment Regulators Vice Grip Printer Wrench Personal Computer (Windows based) Measurements of Performance: Compliance with the ISO 9001 Quality System Standard: Corrective action (CARS resulting from an error in essential duties) Customer Complaint and/or returned material (RMAs returned and determined the RMA resulted from an error in essential duties) Arrive for shift on time and ready to begin work. WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Qualifications Familiarity with manufacturing and quality control Strong attention to detail Familiar with industry testing tools and equipment Basic math Proficiency in using personal computer, data entry terminal and other common office equipment and software EDUCATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or GED Certification: Required: ISO Awareness Course Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Using analytical and observation skills demonstrate the ability to set a course or direction, which fulfills the vision and expectations in maintaining the highest level of Quality in the industry.
