The role you’ll contribute:Transports patients to and from various patient care areas within the hospital and at discharge. Responsible to adhere to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan, and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.The value you’ll bring to the team:Demonstrates knowledge and ability in providing basic care to the following age specific patient populations: the geriatric patient, the adult patient, the adolescent patient, and the pediatric patient.
Ensures safe transfer of patient from stretcher to bed, bed to wheelchair, wheelchair. Application of brakes for mode of transportation is ensured during patient transfer.
Safely discharges patients using wheelchairs. Insures safe transfer from wheelchair to mode of transportation home.
QualificationsThe expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:High School diploma of equivalent
