We are looking for an Area Director – Enterprise Solutions &Architecture to join our team within Infrastructure Services (IS). Why should you join the Enterprise Solutions team? As an Area Director, you will be leading the teams that are driving outcomes for Fortune 500 customers across all verticals. Our global consultants are the tip of the spear for infrastructure planning and deployment services deliver thousands of projects each year. From employing our methodologies at hundreds of sites to leveraging complete enterprise design services, customers trust our infrastructure experts to assess the technology they have today and design the solutions they need for tomorrow. What will you be doing? The Area Director will provide leadership to a specific Infrastructure Services Consulting & Architecture teams and will have managers and individual contributors as direct reports. Additionally, the Director will be responsible for overall team morale and growth. Responsibilities: Business Leadership
  • Lead consulting mangers to develop market plans to address account and domain planning needs that drives Digital Transformation and Industry Solutions in Strategic Accounts, accelerates our customer’s digital journey, and results in engagements that maximize product and service pull through.
  • Champion transformation by partnering with Global Enterprise Sales, Government Solutions, and Service Provider sales channels and multiple service lines to create a One WWT experience for our customers.
Business Execution
  • P&L management
  • Fulfill financial delivery and/or sales commitments by managing your business to deliver on financial accountabilities.
  • Know your scorecard accountabilities, have a plan to attain a 100% client retention, and lead the operating rhythm and cross-organizational collaboration necessary to impact transformational growth and WWT business priorities.
  • Understand joint accountabilities and how your business interoperates within the OEM ecosystem and diverse service lines. Support and influence systemic business improvements across organizational boundaries and drive closer collaboration with leadership and the sales organization.
  • Develops, maintains, and creates relationships with our key partners to ensure alignment of our consulting and advisory services globally.
People Leadership
  • Be a Change Leader and create a learning culture within your business. Lead with the Model-Coach-Care framework and hold your organizations managers accountable for the same. Drive professional development and skilling of selling and delivery teams in priority areas
  • Lead by example through the demonstration of WWT Leadership Principles: Creating Clarity, Generating Energy, and Delivering Results.
  • Attract, develop, and retain best talent in the industry.
  • Conveys the WWT vision in very real and relevant terms that others can identify with, helping others see how things will improve while staying focused on department and WWT strategic priorities and allocates their time and resources accordingly.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as a Managing Director or VP level in Consulting Services
  • Proven ability to build influential relationships internally and externally at all levels of the organization
  • In-depth understanding and application of the selling process, consulting, IT technology, management practices, understanding of the IT market in the U.S., and basic business principles
  • Demonstrated VMware, Dell, and or Cisco consulting leadership background with a larger system integrator or VAR
  • Leadership experience building a strong network with CxOs in Enterprise accounts to guide and council on industry/solution trends and driving customer requirements consulting delivery teams
  • Extensive people leadership experience; inspiring and fostering a culture of customer centricity, attracting, developing, and retaining deep technical resources, business, and project management resources
  • Full financial and scorecard responsibility for a professional services business
  • Strong management, communication, execution skills; track record of owning a business area and exceeding results, establishing a strong voice to drive transformational change across the organization
  • Extensive experience managing complex, project-based resources, dealing with ambiguous situations with can-do attitude across enterprise customers.
  • Experience running a disciplined, weekly customer and business review process with cross-functional teams, identifying and prioritizing blockers, and driving resolution through corporate product and engineering teams.
