REMOTE - DIRECT HIRE - Google Cloud Infra Architect Apex Systems is seeking a Google Cloud Infrastructure Architect to work remotely for an amazing company that is growing fast! This exciting position offers candidates the opportunity to work with a passionate team that builds creative consulting services to Fortune 500 clients. You will be delivering concept-to-completion cloud infrastructure services across multiple programs. This position is 100% remote, working hours are EST or CST.
We are open to candidates at skill levels: Mid level architect, Sr level engineer
Candidates must be able to work on our W2 without sponsorship.

Technical Environment: Google Cloud Infrastructure, Linux/unix/windows, scalable systems (load balancers, memcached, master/slave architectures), NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB, etc) Cloud hosting services (dont need all but the below tools are necessary in role)

Google Compute Engine - VMs on Google Data Center
Cloud Storage - scalable
Cloud SDK - command line tools/libraries
CloudSQL - relational database services for MySQL & PostgreSQL
Google Kubernetes Engine - managed service for containerized apps
BigQuery - data warehouse running on serverless infrastructure
Cloud CDN - Content delivery network for web and video
Dataflow - streaming analytics for stream and batch processing
Vision AI - custom models to detect emotions, text, and more
Cloud Run - managed environment to run containers
Cloud Functions - event driven compute platform
Anthos - platform for modernizing existing apps and building new ones

Network/VPN solutions:

HA VPN
Classic VPN

Required Experience:

5 years of experience designing enterprise cloud technology systems solutions
- build scalable systems
- Containerization
- Cloud hosting services and solutions
3+ years of GCP experience
- migrating infrastructure and applications using Google Cloud Services
- GCP compute & network architecture - VPN/VPC solutions
