Maxar is looking for an Integration and Test Engineer to join our team in Orlando, FL. As the Integration and Test Engineer, you will work directly with Maxar's One World Terrain (OWT) Engineering and subcontractor teams by providing data development services. The Test Engineer will be primarily responsible for the collection and management of all source data to include development and management of tactical collection capability, development of processes for 3D mesh integration, development of the conflation process, support OWT Data Model development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with GIS engineers in a distributed, DoD development environment.Minimum Qualifications:- U. S Citizen with the ability to qualify for a DoD SECRET clearance
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related information science field.
- 5+ years of direct software development experience.
- 3+ years of experience working in highly regulated DoD environments.
- 2+ years of experience working with 3D Stereo-photogrammetry Software (Pix4D, Context Capture, Drone2Map.
- Extensive knowledge in a variety of GIS systems including ArcPro and QGIS.
- Experience with US Army Training & Simulation Applications.
- Experience developing geospatial/modeling & simulation programs or image generators.
- Experience in data model development.
- Experience working with distributed international team members.
- Proficient in technical writing for processes and procedures.
- Prior industry experience in U.S. Army Simulation & Training is strongly desired.
- Knowledge of geospatial data products is a plus.
- Prior experience using Confluence, DOORS, GIT, and JIRA is a plus.
