Sr. Automation Test Engineer (Selenium)

As a multi-functional Software Test Engineer, you will be a member of a multi-discipline team whose objective is the deployment of the next generation of C2 support systems You will be responsible for automating and executing verification, validation and testing of web based and legacy enterprise systems within a continuous integration and deployment environment. You have experience validating web applications across different browsers and platforms. You are highly proficient with Selenium WebDriver and Selenium Grid and have experience in their use. You are familiar with the Document Object Model (DOM) and you are extremely comfortable with performing Java or javaScript coding activities. You are equally comfortable within either a CI/CD pipeline or a traditional software life-cycle development environment. Scope of duties include:- Using Selenium WebDriver to automate test cases provided by the IV&V team and stakeholders.
- Integrating automated test cases into the DevOps pipeline.
- Devising solutions that automatically report test results to test management tools such as Micro Focus ALM, Zephyr, and Test Rail.
- Utilizing Selenium Grid to run automated tests in parallel.
- Conduct test design activities to identify and create automated test cases, test procedures and test scripts traceable to system requirements.
- Conduct static and dynamic testing at all software testing levels to include integration, functional, system, and acceptance.
- US Citizen, SECRET Clearance- must be current
- DoD 8570 IAT Level 1 certification or higher (ex. CompTIA Network+, Security+, CASP, CISSP)
- Must be eligible for a T5 background investigation
- Bachelor's /Associates degree or equivalent, and 8 years + of related experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in object-oriented programming.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with validating web applications across different browsers and platforms
- Demonstrated experience with developing and managing automated test suites.
- Demonstrated experience with automated test framework development.
- Demonstrated experience with Selenium WebDriver and Selenium Grid or similar open source solutions.
- Demonstrated experience with using build tools such as Jenkins and Maven.
- Demonstrated experience with integrating automated tests into the DevOps process.
- Demonstrated knowledge of agile software development life cycle models.
- Skilled in utilizing software development management and issue tracking tools (JIRA).
- Skilled in utilizing test management tools (e.g. Micro Focus ALM, Zephyr, Test Rail) to build test suites/sets, capture test data, and analyze results.
- Demonstrated ability to capture test data, analyze test results and clearly communicate (orally and written) findings and/or deficiencies.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and collaborate with members of a software development or systems engineering team to accomplish project team goals and objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct software/system integration, installation, configuration, functional, performance, regression and system recovery testing.
