The Accounting Manager is responsible for all shared service accounting functions and the production of financial statements for assigned business units. Handle all general ledger recording and posting impacting the financial statements, including general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable (corporate), projects, fixed assets, software, SaaS. Maintain technical accounting expertise and implement any changes in accounting guidance impacting the areas mentioned. Handle G&A expense accruals for all corporate departments. Lead integrations of corporate systems related to the above accounting areas. Provide accounting support to various shared services departments as well as various general and administrative groups.

  • Lead, counsel, train, mentor, assign duties to, evaluate and develop assigned accounting team
  • Handle preparation of, review and approve all journal entries posted in ERP system related to all general accounting functions
  • Handle all Fixed Assets and Intangible Assets function including recording, depreciation to reporting
  • Run G&A expense accrual process
  • Handle audit requests for corporate accounting
  • Manage AR billings related to Corporate Business Units
  • Lead Receivable and payment posting
  • Collaborate closely with the payable functions and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Supervise all financial statements related to assigned entities and ensure they are complete by established Financial Services calendar proposed completion dates
  • Review financial statements integrity and accuracy
  • Continually seek to improve efficiencies by evaluating all processes, policies and systems
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and modeling as needed

  • BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • 2+ years of management or supervisory experience
  • Open to work occasional evenings, weekends and/or holidays
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel with a strong skills for data manipulation using sophisticated functions, formulas, and tables

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • MA/MS/MBA/Master's Degree
  • CPA and/or MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of related accounting experience
