Beverage H/H Tipped (Bartender) Cast Members are focused on creating a magical and enjoyable dining experience by ensuring the highest standard of Guest Service. Beverage H/H Tipped (Bartender) are responsible for maintaining a strong working knowledge of alcoholic beverages, from beer and wine to various cocktails and specialty themed mixed drinks. They must be able to communicate these drink choices to Guests in a friendly and inviting way and be able to assist in drink selections.Beverage Host and Hostesses Tipped (Bartender) receive a starting rate of $7.98/hour.Responsibilities :
Greet & welcome Guests using themed greetings
Knowledge of wines and spirits including fermented, distilled and fortified beverages
General knowledge of cocktail recipes
Preparation of cocktails using recipes
General knowledge bar set up
Setting up/Breaking down
General knowledge of bar sanitation
Cleaning/Sanitizing
Continuous walking & standing extended periods of time
Work locations may vary:
Front of house restaurant bars
Service Bars
Poolside bars
Banquet Bars
Bussing tables, running food, folding napkins, other side responsibilities
Process Guest orders accurately through a point-of-sale system (POS register), including; counting money, making change, and processing credit card transactions
Strong verbal communication skills to positively engage with Guests and Cast Members
Provide Guest Service and help find solutions when challenges arise
Passion & knowledge of Disney Products
Maintain discretion and Guest confidentiality
Maintain food safety standards
Follows appropriate laws and company policy regarding serving of Guests
Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, safety harnesses, hard hats, safety vests etc.) may be required
Basic Qualifications :
Must be at least 18 years old
At least 1 or more years of full service experience as a Beverage Server Tipped (Bartender)
Experience managing, prioritizing, and supporting multiple responsibilities efficiently
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and adjust quickly to operational changes
Physical role requiring heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and kneeling
Ability to stand for long periods of time or walking long distance and climbing stairs throughout the resorts and parks
Basic computer skills to operate mobile devices and other computer systems
Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
Part-Time requires full availability for any shift, a MINIMUM of three (3) days per week, including nights and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual preferred
Previous bartending experience in high volume
