HCA Florida Osceola Hospital, located in beautiful Kissimmee, Florida, is seeking a Registered Nurse Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the NeuroTrauma ICU (NTICU) to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. This work shift is Full-time DAYS and rotating weekends.

What you will do in this role

HCA Florida Osceola Hospital is a Level II Trauma Center. You will be demonstrating your advanced nursing knowledge, skills, and abilities in this12-bed Neuro Trauma ICU.

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator assumes responsibility for direction and coordination of unit functions on their designated shift.

In collaboration with other members of the management team, you will be responsible for the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in your unit, and are readily available to support the front-line nurses and physicians.

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator functions as a resource person for staff members and assists in necessary education of individual members of the nursing staff.

You will be making decisions regarding activities in these areas based on Administrative Operational Standards, Nursing Administrative Standards, Human Resources Standards, and Standards of Care for your unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.

Qualifications you will need for this role

Licensure: Current Florida Registered Nurse license is required or appropriate compact licensure.

Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certification is required.

Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification are required. New employees must obtain within six months from start date.

Current Specialty certification is preferred.

Education: Nursing diploma or ASN is required; BSN is preferred.

Experience: Previous Charge RN experience is preferred. Experience with high acuity critical care patients is preferred.
