Location: Orlando, FL - remote

Duration: 12 month contract

Compensation: $75

Skillset / Experience:

Top 4 Must Have Skills: 1. Terraform 2. Gitlab 3. EKS/ECS 4. CICD DevOps/Cloud Engineer? Skills Required AWS: Candidates must have AWS engineering & provisioning experience by using AWS Command Line and not just the GUI. They will be required to build environments and deploy applications in AWS services like ECS, AMIs, EC2, S3, and Elastic Load Balancing. Infrastructure-as-Code: Experience using IaC to automate tasks of applications in Linux/Unix platforms at large scale using configuration management tools like Chef, Terraform, Puppet or Ansible is required. (100+ server environments at a time). Terraform - is highly desired. Operations: Experience trailing application issues in the public cloud is required. Extensive knowledge of going through the logs and tracing down to identify issues causing service outages is key. They use CloudTrail yet experience with those tools isn't required. Linux: Candidates must have 2+ years of troubleshooting on-call experience on Linux platforms in large enterprise environments from a Sysadmin perspective. They will join an on-call rotation where extensive troubleshooting of REHL, AWS, Containers & Web Services is required.

Automation: Candidates with Automation experience by editing/writing scripts like Python, Ruby, Bash or PowerShell to automate tasks will be required. Design experience in an enterprise environment. Experience in a system engineer/devops role. Experience/Familiarity with some technologies used by our teams: Angular.js, Node.js, Spring/Java Experience with architecting highly scalable and highly available systems Experience with web and mobile Deep technical experience in consumer and employee facing enterprise systems Required knowledge and understanding of technical architecture, application systems design and integration in a large heterogeneous enterprise environment with hands on experience in Containers: Candidates with experience managing and deploying applications in docker containers in a distributed architecture using Kubernetes Orchestration systems are preferred Knowledge of following is a plus Akamai, Splunk, Jenkins, AppDynamics, Consul & Rundeck.
