What will I be doing?

As a Credit Reporting Analyst, you will analyze and interpret Credit Reporting and Compliance data in an order to develop on their own a monthly root cause analysis for Sr. Leadership and coordinate the implementation of system/process improvements based on their findings.

You will be responsible for driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Independently address any process/system issues that are negatively impacting compliance with Diamond's business rules or with State & Federal regulatory guidelines.
  • Analyze the METRO2 Credit Reporting file for red flag items and using historical data develop on their own a trend and forecast analysis to be submitted to Sr. Leadership.
  • Work with other departments to correct data or procedure gaps in order to correct errors, enhance compliance or improve efficiencies.
  • Each month pulls samples from all the credit reporting disputes and conduct an independent audit. Work with the Credit Reporting Coordinators to correct any errors discovered as a result of that audit and identify trends and possible system issues that are triggering dispute errors.
  • Pull ad hoc reports to support the Operation Compliance teams
  • Continually review system process and data to identify areas for improvement. Make recommendations as needed.
  • Partner with Leadership to ensure quality assurance standards are being met from the Compliance Team.
  • Monitor and Measure the impact of new processes and/or system changes.
  • Apply skills and company systems to assess key drivers and recommend changes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Attend company meetings, conference calls and training(s) as necessary

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Solid understanding of root cause analysis and process improvement concepts.
  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with of MS Office Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUP)
  • Knowledge and understanding of credit & collections policies, procedures & strategies.
  • Experience with SQL
