This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAA’s family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties. This term could be extended based on company business needs.CW-Info Systems Architect IVThe Information Systems Architect develops multiple types/categories of software architecture and operating systems for running end user applications. Working under minimal supervision, this job develops complex architectural guidelines, specifications and technical standards related to current and future end user requests. This job is considered a subject matter expert in the Information Systems Architecture field.Key Responsibilities and Duties
Executes complex architecture requirements analysis to convert end user needs into technical solutions.
Synchronizes systems design and technology constraints in accordance with compliance requirements.
Develops key capabilities and performance requirements when developing system architectures.
Creates technical specifications and standards for layered and multidimensional models.
Designs and implements solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, operating systems and applications across the enterprise.
Communicates the design of the technical architecture clearly too all stakeholders.
Implements complex data modeling and advanced project development of system architecture.

Responsibilities
Architect, develop, and test for cross-browser and cross-platform applications
Design and develop web applications in Angular/React or Spring Web MVC
Design and develop highly scalable, highly performant, highly secure, highly accessible, client-facing web applications
Develop prototype code following the best practices and design patterns in both Java and Angular technologies.
Migrate web apps from monolith into micro frontend architectures.
Collaborate with multiple teams including business stakeholders, UX Design and backend teams.
Design and build common re-useable code/framework working with Architects and other technical teams in the InnerSource community.
Provide direction and recommendations on emerging trends and technologies, framework, and development methodologies by conducting assessments of benefits, risks and how it best fits within the existing application environment
Lead and mentor a team of frontend resources
Qualifications
Deep knowledge of design patterns to build highly scalable, highly performant, highly secure web applications
Must have strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JS, responsive design, single page applications.
Must have a strong understanding of testing frameworks like Karma/Mocha/Codecept (AngularJS), etc
Must have a deep understanding on web performance optimization techniques and tools like Lighthouse
Must have deep understanding of web security and OWASP principles
Must have a good understanding of with REST and GraphQL APIs
Nice to have experience leading a technical transformation at a financial services company
Ability to review existing web architecture and provide feedback on pros and cons, industry best practices, etc.
Must be a strong communicator and influencer, with technologists
Experience leading Web development projects
Experience with Node.js backend development
Familiarity with Full Stack Serverless Web application development practices
Familiarity with React/React Native/Flutter is a plus
Familiarity with AWS or any public cloud service including Serverless options
Familiarity with caching patterns, caching strategies and caching tools like Redis
