AECOM is seeking an Environmental Engineer, with a minimum of 4 years of experience, to be based out of our Tampa or Orlando, Florida offices.The successful candidate will have a background in environmental engineering and a successful work history in environmental investigations and environmental site remediation of chemical contaminated sites.Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the following:Project and task support, data analysis, report writing, assisting with cost estimating, remedial plan preparation, and design support.Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.Serves as task lead for environmental projects working under the supervision of a Project Manager and coordinates efforts of support staff.Provides guidance to entry level engineers.Works with a team to develop proposed approaches to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods previously developed.Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations.Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.Qualified candidates must be comfortable with travel and field work support.
