Food and Beverage Food Handler Cast Members are focused on (the behind-the-scenes magic, ensuring we receive the highest quality food products for our guests. The Food Handlers work in our BOH Kitchen and back dock areas, supporting the operations by inspecting and receiving deliveries from our vendors and warehouses. Responsible for labeling, dating, rotating product as well as cleaning all BOH storerooms and coolers.The starting pay rate for this role is $15.00Responsibilities :
Maintain sanitation standards for cleaning of all freezers, coolers, walk-ins, storeroom, and the back dock area
Repeated loading and unloading of raw and finished products, dry goods, liquor, kegs, and chemicals; that could include but not limited to beef, pork, poultry, fish, shellfish, gluten, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, egg, dairy products, and alcoholic products
General product knowledge to include food, beer, wine, liquor, and liqueurs along with support infrastructure
Maintain food safety standard - Following sanitation guidelines
Prolong standing and walking to multiple areas of the parks and resorts including climbing several flights of stairs
Lift products more than 60 lbs. with occasional team lifting
Exposure to hot and cold conditions
Confirm all deliveries and document temperatures
Work with the Inventory Control Clerk and location Leaders to maintain proper sanitation and FIFO techniques, placing new products behind existing, rotating products.
May help take a physical inventory of foods and supplies monthly
Operate a Smartphone device or radio to communicate with Cast Member
Operate inventory tracking software system
Comfortable driving a van or box truck
Training provided to operate a pallet jack and forklift operations, to move product from and to different locations within resorts or parks
Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required
Cast Members may handle cleaning chemicals and supplies
Basic Qualifications :
You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered
Valid Driver’s License
Written and interpersonal communications skills
Physical role, pushing, pulling, bending twisting, kneeling, and heavy lifting
Part-time requires full availability for any shift, a MINIMUM of (3) THREE days per week, including nights and holidays
Full-Time roles require full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual preferred
Proficient in HACCP
