Our client in Downtown Orlando, FL is seeking an IT Operations & Public Cloud Manager / SME. The individual will be part of a growing cloud-centric $2 Billion+ global insurance & risk management firm, reporting directly to the CTO. This position operates onsite in their Orlando office. - Rates / salary commensurate with experience
- IT Cloud Operations Manager to provide strategic architectural expertise in Microsoft Azure public cloud.
- Create architecture designs for network segmentation, redundancies & templates with Azure Resource Manager.
- Assess current-state Disaster Recovery & lead in strategy to implement new comprehensive enterprise DR model.
- Manage operational cost efficiencies, assess and communicate the cost of IT services for planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Provide guidance for Change Management requests and testing activities.
- Work with organizational leadership to manage a large MSP IT support vendor model with over 160 vendors & partnerships.
- MS Azure cloud operation manager experience
- Disaster Recovery management, architect & design experience
- Knowledge of best practices for cost savings & maximizing network efficiencies
