Our direct client in the insurance industry is seeking an IT Project Manager. The company is growing its office in Orlando, Florida. This is a contract to hire role. Employees are offered medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and commuter benefits.
Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of technology projects - strong experience with either managing enterprise application development projects or data projects
- Align programs, projects and operations to company's strategic objectives
- Oversee adherence to Project Management practices
- Expert in Waterfall and Agile Project Management methodologies
- Prior experience managing large Data oriented projects is a must
- Capture and help prioritize project change requests that can include new requirements, features, functions, operational constraints, regulatory demands and technical enhancements
- Facilitate estimation and management of the financial resources of a project or group of projects
- Produce Regular Project Reporting
- 7-10 years' experience - experience in the Insurance or Financial Services industry is a plus
- Prefer PMP ETC (Ideally someone with a strong Methodology in PMP principles. Does not need to be certified but understand how to implement these Methodologies)
