The Cyber TRIDENT IDIQ is utilized by Department of Defense (DOD) organizations and other non-DOD agencies that have related cyber training needs. The Cyber TRIDENT IDIQ provides the management, integration, maintenance, and evolution for the PCTE platform, and provides total system/subsystem acquisition life cycle support for the PCTE system baseline. One of the objectives of this program is to provide effective, adequate, and feasible cybersecurity posture and processes. This position is located in Orlando, Florida and is contingent upon award.Responsibilities:

The candidate will help drive solutions and security architectures of the PCTE Platform.

The candidate will assess the entire cybersecurity posture of the Platform and will make recommendations to reduce support costs and will expose and remediate configuration and operational security issues before they affect the Platform.

The candidate will monitor the environment for security events and operational health.

The candidate will prevent the compromise of privileged account credentials from cyberattacks, promote credential hygiene and cybersecurity best practices, while ensuring systems/services comply with DoD cybersecurity requirements.

The candidate will coordinate with designated Government personnel to ensure the Platform services are available and optimized through security gateways.

Reviews security threats to network devices and determines/implements effective countermeasures IAW established policies/regulations/directives from DISA, DoD, Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) guidance; and CCSRG, CNSSI 1253, NIST SP 800-137, and the ISCM for Federal IS and Organizations.

Create IA Vulnerability Alert/Management (IAVA/IAVM) Review Reports.

Prepare Systems Security and Mitigation Plans, IA Assessment Reports, FISMA Compliance Reports.

Perform Security Readiness Review (SRR) support.

Will work on occasion in the PCTE lab to provide feedback on current solutions, keep current on vendor products and help drive future architectures.

Document and brief system architecture and changes to various Government officials.

Constantly look for ways to make improvements to the Platform.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering.

Knowledge of government security controls defined in NIST Special Publication 800-53 and DoD Instruction 8500.02.

Worked/familiar with Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs), Operation Orders (OPORDs), and Fragmentary Orders (FRAGOs).

Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Security Engineer.

Exceptional problem solving and communication skills combined with expertise in DoD STIGs.

Familiar with implementation of vulnerability management (IAVM) process and POA&M

Experience conducting audits, risk assessment, threat analysis, contingency planning and implementing security standards and methods.

Extensive Hands-on experience in configuration of any of the firewalls and/or Intrusion Detection systems (IDS).

Working knowledge of security threat vectors, networking, network security, and application security.

In-depth knowledge of common network protocols and security vulnerabilities is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

DoD 8570-01-M IAT Level II or higher to include Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, or CISSP.
