RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Security Analyst in Orlando, FL.
Summary:The Managed Services Security Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analysis, triage, and remediation of security events collected by our Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platform. As a Security Analyst, you will operate and utilize the SIEM toolset to investigate and triage security events, provide reporting and analysis, and ensure all systems are reporting into the SIEM toolset appropriately.Key Tasks: Perform incident monitoring, response, triage, and initial investigations across multi-tenant environment Analysis of security events to determine intrusion and malicious events Security Analyst will maintain a strong awareness and understanding of the current threat landscape Conducting research on emerging security threats Security Analysts review and respond to security events that are detrimental to the overall security posture; Analyze and detect sophisticated and nuanced attacks, discern false positives Responsible for reporting, escalating, and remediating anomalous events based on the established protocolREQUIREMENTS: Technical degree in a related field from an accredited school or one of the following security certifications: CySA+, GIAC-GSEC, SSCP, CEH, CCNA-S or other security related certification GIAC-GSEC or other security certification 2+ years of related Cyber-security experience 2+ years of analyst experience within enterprise level SIEM tools such as LogRhythm, Intel Security ESM, HP ArcSight, or IBM QRadar 1+ years of analyst experience within enterprise level Case Management tools 1+ years of experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Tenable/Nessus 1+ years of experience with EDR solutions such as Cylance or Cisco Amp 1+ years of experience with DNS/Content filtering solutions Experience working in a Managed Services Security Provider (MSSP) The individual will be: well-versed in security architecture; Familiar with current and emerging threats; Able to develop risk mitigation strategies required to protect the confidentiality, Integrity and availability of information systems and client data; And proficient at working with internal business units and vendors to resolve issues and develop efficient and effective action plans Advanced knowledge of common attack methodologies, tactics, and protocols Possess a foundational knowledge in networking fundamentals Knowledge of common network-based services and client/server applicationsKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
