We like big thinkers with action on the brain We are looking for a Project Manager with a technical background of information technology (IT) Application Development projects experienced in all project life phases (initiation - implementation).

Exciting work you will do:
  • Lead, plan, direct, track and monitor all project management activities for assigned IT projects.
  • Manage project cost to ensure that the project will deliver timely and within budget.
  • Report, escalate and manage risks and issues associated with projects to ensure timely delivery.
  • Facilitate meetings to develop schedules, address questions/concerns, assign work groups, monitor and execute against project plans.
  • Prepare Executive Sponsor Updates.
  • Responsible for driving the project and tasks to completion, not only monitoring and reporting.
  • Management and delivery of assigned IT Application Development and SAAS/COTS projects to successful completion.
  • Develop project plans with project team and work with project team to execute.
  • Work with the users and other software vendor resources, as required, and resolve technical queries and issues on an ad hoc basis. A PM who has worked hands on in technology is preferred.
  • Manage scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Review, understand, and procure signoff for requirements and technical design documentation.
  • Ensure development environment requirements are defined for the project, and that environments are assigned, updated, and maintained throughout project lifecycle.
  • Manage Releases for SIT/UAT.
  • Facilitate triage, investigation and resolution of technical issues including environments, applications, etc.
  • Manage Change Order process.
  • Maintain relationships and alignment with project sponsor and stakeholders.
  • Ensure true technical completion and quality of the product as per the project scope
  • Schedule and run project team meetings, including Agile meetings where applicable (i.e., stand ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
  • Track activity progress toward the project plans.
  • Establish and maintain assigned Projects in management tools e.g. SharePoint.
  • Maintain Program communications on shared collaboration sites such e.g. SharePoint, etc.
  • Manage project control gates and Deliverables.
  • Ensure completion of resource onboarding process.
  • Maintain project timesheets and time collection in MS Project Server.
  • Keep the Project History current, including change orders, project deliverables, risk and issue register.
  • Facilitate Issues and Risks to closure; escalate when needed.
  • Work with Program Manager to prepare for Program meetings.
  • Complete weekly Project Score Cards.
  • Complete deployment and operational readiness deliverables.
  • Ensure post-production process and knowledge transfer sessions are planned and executed (follow AMS process if applicable).
  • Complete project lessons learned and project closeout activities.

What you will need:
  • Ability to manage 2-3 large projects concurrently.
  • Ability to work in fast paced highly visible environment.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience executing within Agile Methodologies.
  • Ability to build and manage relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Poised to work with and to communicate with C-Level Executives.
  • Change management skills rolling out tools and processes to IT professionals.
  • Proficient using MS Project Server and SharePoint.
  • Proficient using "desktop" O365 tools.
