DescriptionOur client is looking for an experienced Software Engineer with strong Java skills. This position will primarily oversee specified mobile and web platform development projects. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with Java, MySQL and AWS. This is a full-time, direct full-time, full-time (full-time) opportunity.RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, scale and improve our microservices infrastructure to make it simple and efficient to maintain Own large projects and work with engineers and product managers to help plan, prioritize and develop work Collaborate with the team to build high-quality, scalable Java APIs that follow best practices
Perform regular code reviews and by writing tests to validate work and prevent regression
Requirements
5 years of experience in a Software Development role or equivalent work experience
Previous experience with Java and MySQL
Proficiency with modern API design patterns and best practices
Hands-on experience with Java 8 features and frameworks like Spring and Dropwizard
Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud services, ElasticSearch, Redis, Spark, Cassandra, Kafka and Storm
