Actalent is hiring a Software Engineer for a large Aerospace/DoD company located in Orlando, FL. Position offers full time benefits, paid vacation, paid holidays, and OT pay. Description:Modeling & Simulation Engineer to design, develop, test and verify modeling and simulation software for a high fidelity 6-DOF Integrated Flight Simulation (IFS).
Additional development activities include lower fidelity performance-based simulations and an analysis tool suite.
Responsibilities include IFS and model requirement definition, design, code implementation, test, integration and verification activities for the simulations and supporting tools and scripts.

Ability to work onsite in Orlando and support 4/10 (M-Th) work schedule (required)
Hands-on engineer able to develop new SW (Design – Verification) and debug existing code (Required)

Git/GitLab Experience (Required)
Demonstrated Full Lifecycle Experience (SW Design – SW Validation) (Required)
Working knowledge of Agile and Atlassian Tool Suite (Preferred)
Working Knowledge of Model-Based Engineering and Enterprise Architect or Rhapsody Modeling Tools (Preferred)
Working Knowledge of DOORs (Preferred)
Flight Simulation, Aircraft Systems, Sensors Experience (Nice to Have)
