Software Engineering SpringThe Software Engineering Advisor uses in-depth knowledge and experience to maintain and enhance a Spring driven, cloud based API used by our client's mobile clients. Implements maintenance and enhancements and performs code reviews in an Agile development environment.This candidate will be comfortable in a large enterprise environment in which communication with a wide range of external teams is required. This candidate will also be comfortable driving key initiatives from solutioning, implementation and testing and able to provide status to stakeholders.This is more than a heads down coding role, and the most qualified candidate will be someone willing to network across business units and departments to gain an understanding of business processes and requirements.Required Skills:
- 10 years of software engineering experience, Java preferred
- 5+ years working with Spring Java frameworks
- Proven ability to succeed in a large enterprise environment in which they're asked to drive key initiatives through communication and requirements gathering
- Proven experience with the following technologies
- Spring, SpringBoot, Spring REST capability
- Spring Cloud and/or other Java based cloud platforms
- Maven for Java projects
- Git SCM
- Splunk and/or New Relic
- NoSQL. and RDBMS such as Mongo and Postgres
- Eclipse, STS or IntelliJ IDE
- Proven ability to lead discussions across teams including all levels of the organization
- BA/BS CS or related field.
