- The Sr. Business Data Analyst will provide analytic partnership to business users throughout the client organization. In addition to developing approach and methodology for analysis, this person will also be defining the variables, identifying relevant data sources, planning and ultimately analyzing, drawing conclusions and insights from the data and reporting results to our business partners. In addition to the required skills we would like to see candidates with the following:
- Our preference would be to review individuals who have at least 3 years' experience in applied analytics
- Candidates should possess advanced analytical skills and experience such as root cause analysis, correlation analysis, test vs control, demographic segmentation, benchmarking, regression, etc.
- Candidates should be proficient in use of big data analytics software (ex. Alteryx, Rapid Miner, Knime, JMP, Talend) NOTE: Altreryx experience would be a plus
- Proficient in a visualization software (PowerBI, Tableau, Dossier)
- Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office Products and business intelligence tools
- It would be helpful if this person has some kind of background in IT (not a Business Analyst); a moderate understanding of SQL would be helpful
- Working in a large retail, hospitality, or restaurant company a plus
