Orlando Immigration Lawyer Needs Arabic & Spanish Language Paralegal (Orlando)

Florida, Orlando 00000 Orlando USA

Vacancy expired!

Arabic and Spanish Speaking Paralegals needed for Immigration Lawyers Office. No experience working in the field is required, however experience in the field is preferred. Office located in Conway area. Applicant must speak, read and write either in Arabic & English or in Spanish & English. Speaking either language perfectly is not required, rather we need someone who can communicate effectively with our clientele. We need someone who can help our office get its work done effectively and efficiently.

We need someone : (1) who will come to work each day ready to provide a full day's work ; (2) who is willing to learn and who is not afraid to ask questions when he/she does not know the answer ; (3) who understands that our work is for the benefit of our clients, meaning that we do not take personally any instruction, any direction or any criticism ; (4) who understands the concept of the "chain of command" ; (5) who wants to be rewarded for a good job done and who understands that doing a good job means following instructions.

We are a small office, but our phone rings frequently. We are a small office, yet we generate a tremendous amount of paperwork. These are busy times in our field and we need someone who is able to change direction when our clients' needs require that change of direction. We need paralegals who are here to do the best they can and who will follow the training we provide.

We have listed this add multiple times and we receive phone calls from prospective employees who do not return messages and who do not appear at scheduled job interviews. Please, do not waste our time! If you are looking for work that is steady and you are willing to see the process through even though you may not get the job, send us a resume. If you are trying to satisfy a quota of applications, please send the resume someplace else. This is a serious job where we do our part to change people's lives for the better. We can't do that without a dedicated staff and being a member of that staff requires attention to detail to ensure that the job is done the way we find works best for our staff and for our clients.

Responsibilities will include handling all types of family based immigration work, employment based immigration work and deportation defense. We are frequent litigators in federal court and a paralegal who would be willing to learn about how to assist us would also be helpful. Although we have a receptionist and a file clerk, anyone brought on board will be trained in answering incoming telephone calls, setting appointments, scheduling initial consultations, copying, filing, organizing, maintaining files and just about anything else to help us provide effective customer service to our clientele.

The office is very fast-paced and keeping up can be challenging, we need someone who is a quick learner, someone who is self-motivated and someone who can learn on the go.

The day starts at 8:30 AM and generally ends at 5:00 PM. Lunch is from 12 PM - 1 PM, we close the doors and do not answer the phones during lunch. Medical insurance and a 401k plan are available upon successful completion of a 90 day probationary period. We pay half of your medical insurance and if we find the right person we will pay half of medical insurance for the employee, spouse and children.

We can be flexible with scheduling and we understand that important responsibilities like children and extended family are a reality in everyone's lives. We do not require employees to "clock" in and out, but we do expect employees to be responsible by showing up on time and giving us a full day's work. When you need time off, let us know and we can generally work around other demands on your time.

Personal transportation is an absolute requirement, travel costs are reimbursed for work-related travel.

If you like to be challenged and can work in a quick-paced environment, send your resume. This position is available immediately. The position starts at $12.50-$15 per hour with a 40 hour work week. We are willing to pay more per hour to someone with the right background. We provide paid vacations, we pay for sick time and we expect anyone sending a resume to be ready to work and to learn how to become an important part of our team.

We will provide training on how to do the work and why we do the work. Moving upwards takes time and it takes an understanding of what we do, how we do it and showing us a work ethic that makes our office decide to make further investment into your career.

When sending your email, please send a brief explanation in English telling us why we should consider you for the job. A brief explanation sent in any language other than English will be deleted. Sending a resume without this brief explanation will also be deleted. Follow instructions, tell us why we should schedule you for an interview and we will chat about your future with our office.
