Job Description: Salesforce Administrator

Remote 90% (must be able to go to office in Orlando to meet with leadership on occasion)
Must be W2 client is not able to sponsor candidates that require work Visa

SMCI is currently seeking a highly productive omnichannel Salesforce Administrator. The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for providing value to the business by automating complex business processes, creating reports and dashboards, and training users on using Salesforce. Will also work closely with executive team members daily and reports directly to the Executive Team.

This role is part technical project manager, part administrator, and part Salesforce analyst.

As the Salesforce Administrator, you would:

  • Be responsible for the day-to-day configurations, support, maintenance, and improvement of our platform.
  • Serve as primary system administrator, handling all basic administrative functions, including user account maintenance, reports, and dashboards, workflows, and other routine tasks.
  • Comfortable in omnichannel SF environments that are workflow optimized
  • Comfortable building workflows and triggering events in a scheduled process
  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades.
  • Document workflow process and implement a Change Control process
  • Manage the Salesforce data feeds and other integrations.
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests.
  • Assist in training of new users and grow the Salesforce skillset across the organization.
  • Work closely with functional leaders, organization units, and subject matter experts to identify, develop, and deploy new business processes.
  • Comfortable with APEX development (highly preferred)
  • Effectively act as the liaison between our users, vendors, and the application development teams.
  • Have expertise in templating
  • Work independently with the members of the user community to define and document development requirements.

    The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A record of success in designing, implementing, and improving processes and adopting using the Salesforce platform.
  • A demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards.
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills, and strong data management abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, resolve conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
  • Experience in a computer software, travel & tourism, or in a IT industry a Plus!
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality.
  • A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion.
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements.
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce and all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator
  • Preferred for 3 plus years of experience in a Sales/Business Development Support Role.
  • Salesforce Admin Certifications a Strong Plus (ADM 201 and ADM 211)
