Maxar is looking to add a Cyber Security Specialist to the team. The Cyber Security Specialist will work directly with Maxar's One World Terrain (OWT) Engineering teams to establish an Authority to Operate and Authority to Connect (ATC) for the One World Data Server. The required expertise includes prior experience on the use of eMASS system. Direct the Information Technology (IT) staff to conduct Host Based Security System (HBSS) vulnerability assessment scanning activities and the computer software installation activities related to the Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) software maintenance activities. Support the maintenance of computer software and hardware documents related to the DoD Authority to Operate (ATO) reaccreditation activities. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with U.S Army Cyber Security Engineers in a distributed work environment.Minimum Requirements:- Must be a US citizen with an active DoD Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor of Science or an equivalent degree in Information Technology or Information Assurance.
- Seven (7) years plus in a similar position held within the Department of Defense (DoD), DoD contractor or commercial information assurance industry.
- Direct experience with U.S Army Risk Management Framework (RMF) security requirements and eMASS data entry Working knowledge on the development of RMF Systems Security Plan (SSP) and Plan of Action and Milestone (POAM) document development.
- Must be capable of working in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment with the senior engineering and program management staff to support risk management activities.
- Active Certified information Systems Security Processional (CISSP) certification.
- Knowledge of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication (SP) 800-171 risk management compliance practices.
- Working knowledge of Host Based Security System (HBSS) vulnerability assessment scanning activities and the computer software installation activities related to the Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) software maintenance activities.
- Prior experience on the maintenance of computer software and hardware documents related to the DoD Authority to Operate (ATO) reaccreditation activities.
