Role: Automation Engineer Location: Orlando ,FL Contract Responsibilities:
- Engage in fast-paced client projects to plan, engineer, & design the Customer owned Systems using Python and PowerShell.
- Develop automation tools to improve project efficiency using PowerShell, Python.
- Guide existing teams to improve code structure, testability, and maintainability.
- Develop test plans, test scenarios and test cases based on business requirements and execute them
- Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.
- Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability.
- Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Engineering or Electrical, Electronic, Telecommunications, or equivalent.
- At least 7+ years of Software development/Automation experience
- Knowledge and experience in coding/testing complex web applications
- Extensive background in QA methodologies
- Experience with automation using Python and PowerShell.
- Experience with ServiceNow APIs would be a plus.
- Experience with SQL
