Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Caulker with a strong background in waterproofing and sealant applications. This role requires extensive knowledge of various sealants and the ability to apply them effectively in diverse environments, including high-reach and swing stage setups.
Responsibilities:
Must have a sausage gun, caulking spatulas, and all tools to remove existing sealant.
Apply a variety of sealants and waterproofing materials with precision, ensuring a perfect seal against water intrusion.
Dry-tooling the sealant to a neat appearance.
Work on renovation and remediation projects, adapting to different substrates and conditions.
Utilize swing stages and other high-reach equipment safely and effectively to reach and treat areas at heights.
Prepare surfaces for sealant application, which may include cleaning, repairing, or priming.
Adhere to strict safety standards and procedures, especially when working at heights or using specialized equipment.
Travel to job sites within Florida, requiring reliable personal transportation.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of proven experience as a Caulker or in a similar role within the waterproofing or construction industry.
Comprehensive knowledge of all types of sealants, including silicone, polyurethane, Hybrids, and others.
Proficiency with all tools necessary for sealant application, surface preparation, and high-reach work.
Experience with swing stage operations and high-reach equipment is mandatory.
Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for job site travel.
Ability to work at heights with no fear of heights.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
Willingness to work in various weather conditions safely.
