Our exclusive Financial Industry client is hiring a

UX Research Lead to join their team! It's a newly created role and working with a rapidly growing, fast-moving team (from 1 to 17 people in just 3 years) with strong investment and support from Senior Leadership.

Duration: 12 month contract-to-hire

Location: Remote, although remote, MUST reside in Atlanta, Jacksonville, Orlando or Tampa to meet up for a team bonding event 2-3 times a year

Pay: $45-50/hr W2 DOE

As a UX Research Lead on the Digital UX & Analytics Team, you will be responsible for helping define the future of their digital products using insights from a wide variety of qualitative and quantitative research. You will be empowered to own and craft a research roadmap and will be responsible for driving the strategy and process for integrating user research into the product development process.

About the Team

The UX Researcher will join our Digital User Experience, Design and Analytics team which is a cross-functional team of UX architects, visual designers, researchers, writers, analysts and strategic partners collaborating closely with product owners, marketing, operations and engineers to deliver the best possible experience for our members.

The UX, Design and Analytics team is part of the larger Digital Member Experience (DMX) organization. DMX owns the experience for most member-facing digital products including the public sites, Online & Mobile banking, member acquisition and account opening applications. It is our vision to "develop and foster meaningful member relationships that empower and delight" through innovation, problem solving and an emphasis on doing good for our members.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

  • Establishing, documenting and formalizing user research standards and practices
  • Research method and tool selection, planning, user recruitment, test creation, analysis and reporting
  • Qualitative and quantitative research methods across all digital experiences (Online & Mobile Banking, Public Websites, Account Opening / Lending Applications, etc.)
  • Developing a consistent user feedback loop through creation and management of participant recruitment and segmented user panels
  • Creating hypotheses, setting research objectives, and reaching unbiased conclusions
  • Collaborating with designers, product owners and developers on a wide array of research projects
  • Analyzing data and findings to deliver actionable insights that inform business, product, and design decisions
  • Producing, documenting, and sharing research insights in creative ways to increase empathy and inform product direction
  • Proactively identifying areas of opportunity and performing research to support future product design

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in UX Research
  • Associates Degree or greater

    OR completion of reputable UX Bootcamp
  • Knowledge of a set of qualitative and user-centered design methods
  • Knowledge of quantitative, behavioral analysis, and statistical concepts

  • Experience building meaningful cross-functional relationships
  • Effective communication skills with experience presenting to diverse audiences
  • Plus if you have experience using the following tools or something similar: UserZoom, UserTesting, Maze, etc
