- Performs a range of mechanical drafting functions related to the designs of electro-mechanical devices and systems.
- Convert legacy CAD drawings to Solidworks 3D models and 2D drawings.
- Initiates engineering change order requests / redline drawings.
- Work with Engineers to create drawings on new and modified designs and assist in developing engineering prototypes.
- May be assigned responsibility for independent mechanical design and or assembly of complex electromechanical projects.
- Must have 2 to 4 years of experience with with Solidworks.
- Experience creating basic small assembly drawings.
- Understanding Standards / Specifications ASMEY14.100 / Y14.5
- Knowledge of tolerance and Tolerance Stack-ups
- Understanding of basic drafting standards, mounting hardware and sheet metal standards.
- BS in Mechanical Engineering is desired.
