RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Palm Beach Gardens, FL that is seeking a QA Engineer II.

Summary:By establishing and applying Quality Assurance Best Practices, the QA Engineer II contributes to the delivery and deployment of products, solutions and services that meet the quality requirements of the customer. The QA Engineer II will define, plan, develop, acquire, deploy and execute processes, methods, tests, and procedures leading to or resulting in the timely delivery of defect free products, solutions and services. This role performs problem determination and uses defect tracking tool(s) as required. Identifies, writes and maintains test automation tools, and assists in the development of quality assurance standards.

Responsibilities Include: The QA Engineer II uses quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts to analyze and track quality Plans and tracks Quality Assurance projects and reports status to management on a regular and timely basis In addition to the QA responsibilities, this position requires using Agile in Oracle to release Engineering Changes for the Hardware Development team; Once tested, the software must be packaged and zipped, uploaded and sent out for approval.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience At least 4 years of industry experience including a minimum of 3 years experience working in a Quality Assurance organization Hands-on testing experience that includes the use of de facto industry standard test tools Experience with software quality assurance methods and processes used in the Information Technology industry to deliver defect free products and services Experience in software testing is a requirement along with a solid understanding of or hands-on experience with networking, Internet technologies, computers, Virtual Machines (VM), cell phones, test tools and defect reporting and tracking Knowledge of biometrics, Fingerprinting, Iris scanning, etc. a plus Ability to analyze and translate functional specifications, requirements and internal/external infrastructure support processes and dependencies into Quality Assurance plans, test scripts, test cases and test environments that reflect the end user's and/or customer's environment Knowledge of Android, iOS and Windows operating systems Understanding of various hardware for mobile devices including how to use and test SDK's

Experience with: Quality Assurance Processes/Methodologies/Metrics Test automation tools Industry-standard operating systems Networks including tiered network architecture Databases Internet technologies including web services and security practices Programming Project planning and project management Product life cycle Various computer hardware, mobile, etc.
