Newspaper Carriers (Panama City)

Florida, Panama city 00000 Panama city USA

Vacancy expired!

The News Herald is looking for newspaper carriers to deliver home delivery routes. We will need a couple of carriers on the beach from December 7-April 1, 2020. We are also looking for a permanent carrier to deliver in Panama City. Average pay is $300-$600 per week depending on the route. Most carriers start out with smaller routes $200 per week and then move up to gain more area once they have proven that they can show up daily and provide good customer service. It is a contractor position so you have no boss. It is 7 days a week but you can train your own help and you can anyone ride with you. The hours of delivery are from 1AM-6AM, however most routes only take 1.5-3 hours to deliver daily (10.5-21 hours per week).

You will need an active driver's license (does not have to be FL), social security card, current vehicle insurance in your name or proof that you are on the policy (cannot be older than 6 months from effective date on card) and a dependable vehicle. The pay is bi-weekly and will be direct deposited into your bank account or mailed to your residence if you do not have an active bank account. There is no gas allowance but routes are figured to be profitable so the miles driven and hours invested are accounted for in the pay you will receive. All pay is averaged $11-$17 an hour AFTER FUEL COST.

Please respond with your name, contact phone number, are you 18 years old or older, what part of town do you live (PC, PCB, Callaway, etc;) and let us know how interested you are in delivering newspapers. A district manager will contact you (Jamie Meadors or Johnnie Lamon) and will probably set up a date to start training.
