Position Summary

The Make Ready Specialist is responsible for preparing vacant apartment for market ready conditions. The Make Ready Specialist is responsible for various non-technical maintenance issues such as painting, drywall repair, caulking to ensure apartment homes are move in ready residents.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in maintenance field or related area.

Essential Job Functions:

Prepare vacant apartments for market ready conditions according to LURIN standards

Perform various non-technical functions such as maintaining exterior lighting, ground equipment repair, preventative maintenance, caulking, touch up painting, pool maintenance, lock repairs, etc.

May maintain and clean grounds to ensure property presentation meets LURIN's standards

Escalates maintenance issues and/or concerns to supervisor

Respond promptly to resident requests and refers to supervisor

Follow Company procedures regarding the use of tools and equipment

Complete all required logs, paperwork and checklists regarding inventory and/or hazardous chemicals

Adhere to all safety regulations and maintains a safe work environment

Must be able to work flexible schedule which may include working special events and/or weekends

Performs other duties as assigned
