Storage Area Network Administrator

Storage Area Network (SAN) Administrator Must have a Secret Clearance Qualifications: • Install, configure, maintain SAN to include SAN devices, AWS cloud storage, etc. • Install, configure, maintain backup solution. • Develop and maintain records. • Monitor and optimize storage usage. • Manage accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment according to standards, business rules, and needs. • Implement server and special mission system security fixes, operating system patches, and antivirus software. • Experience deploying, managing, and operating workloads on Amazon Web Services (AWS), as well as implement security controls and compliance requirements. • Process and review C4 systems requirement documentation, telecommunication service requests, status of acquisition messages, and telecommunication service orders. • Perform user accounts management and standardize systems settings using automated deployment tools. Manage physical, virtual, and cloud-based server/client hardware. • Ensure continuing systems operability by providing ongoing optimization and problem solving support. • Apply computer security policies to safeguard systems and information. • Categorize, isolate, and resolve system problems. Perform fault recovery by validating, isolating, correcting faults, and verifying service restoral with customers. • Process, document, and coordinate resolution of trouble calls from lower support echelons. • Process scheduled and authorized outages. Submit outage reports in response to unscheduled outages. • Utilize enterprise patching tools to implement security updates and patches to include: Information Assurance Vulnerability Assessments (IAVA), C4 Notice to Airman, Time Compliance Network Orders, Time Compliance Technical Order, operating system patches, and antivirus software updates. • Implement and enforce national, Department of Defense (DoD), and Air Force security policies and directives. Perform proactive security functions to deter, detect, isolate, contain, and recover from information system and network security intrusions. • Perform system sanitation resulting from classified message incidents and classified file incidents. • Analyze risks and/or vulnerabilities and take corrective action to mitigate or remove them. • Review and implement C4 systems requirements. Performs strategic and budget planning for systems hardware and software. • 5-7 years of experience or equivalent combination of training; certifications; work and/or military experience. • AWS Cloud Administration and NetApp Storage Certifications preferred. • Information Assurance Training (IAT) (Level III) certified as defined by DoD 8570.01-M.
