Basic Purpose

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Technical Direction • Quickly learn and maintain functional knowledge of evolving industry technologies, concepts and trends• Provide technical guidance and assistance to internal customers and other ISD staff• Recommend, develop, and maintain standard operating procedures for supported systems• Create, review and modify diagrams, schematics and other technical documents and templates• Conduct engineering and technical research and make recommendations on proposed solutions; anticipates and adjusts for potential problems 2. Engineering Support • Participate in technology research, procurement, deployment, and configuration of new and modified systems• Uses rigorous logic and methods to investigate and diagnose system and product defects, and collaborate with internal technical teams and vendors for resolution• Ensure security and integrity of system and product solutions• Ensure compliance with applicable standards for information security 3. Analysis and Research • Investigate operational or business problems and propose solutions • Ensure compliance with Navy Federal Credit Union ISD standards and best practices• Identify and analyze opportunities for new and/or improved processes, data, or technology; provide clear picture of possible outcomes 4. Communication • Presents consistent, concise, relevant, reliable and timely information• Ensures accuracy of information to enable effective business decisions• Frame message in line with audience experience, background, and expectations; uses terms, examples, and analogies that are meaningful to the audience• Seek input from audience; confirms understanding; presents message in different ways to enhance understanding 5. Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS - KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Required:Microsoft Exchange/O365 Administration and MigrationExperience in IM solutions such as Microsoft TeamsExperience in email compliance/journaling/archiving such as FeithExperience in Messaging Systems including but not limited to O365, Microsoft Exchange, CES, Lotus Notes/Domino Servers, InTune, MobileIron and LDAPFundamental understanding of network and Internet concepts (e.g., firewalls, load balancers, web browsers, TCP/IP, SSL, HTTP, etc.) Proficiency in Microsoft PowerShellWorking knowledge of ADFS, SAML, AD trust, AD permissions and AD delegationProficiency in performance monitoring and mail flow troubleshootingLog analysis and error resolution Ability to read and interpret related system logs, statistics and database queries Proven skillset in troubleshooting and resolving issuesMicrosoft Windows, VM and Linux administrationComfortable working with all levels of employees; including senior managementEffective communications skills; written and verbal

Desired:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related field or equivalent combination of education and experience Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate or equivalent experienceMicrosoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate or equivalent experienceMicrosoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or equivalent experienceMicrosoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate or equivalent experienceExperience configuring and administering email compliance/journaling/archiving solutionsExpert level proficiency in Microsoft PowerShellSelf-starter with proven track record of delivering results Demonstrated effectiveness in complex problem solving situations Ability to work independently, under pressure, meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously Ability to interface with vendors, customers, clients and other departments and respond to requests both in written and verbal form

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (Flexible)

Location: 5550 Heritage Oaks Drive, Pensacola, FL 32526

Due to COVID-19 and social distancing, this position will be temporarily working from home with plans to return to campus at the desired location listed once Navy Federal is back to normal operations. The specific logistics for returning to campus will be determined at a future date by individual leadership
