Basic Purpose To research, evaluate, design, implement, and maintain system and product solutions, applying knowledge of engineering principles. To provide technical direction and engineering support for projects and infrastructure. Develop and maintain advanced functional knowledge of evolving IT engineering industry technologies/competition, concepts and trends.

Responsibilities

• Full life-cycle project management o Establish and lead project teams o Develop project plan/scope/schedule/cost/communications o Procure and/or manage resources/timelines/deadlines/quality o Risk, Issue and Change management o Ensure successful project implementation o Scope of responsibility• Lead, guide and mentor less experienced staff• Provide input and make budgetary recommendations regarding staffing and equipment• Apply engineering principles into the design and enhancement of new and existing systems • Document new system components, or modifications to existing components • Ensure the security and integrity of system and product solutions including compliance with Navy Federal, industry engineering and Information Security principles and practices • Perform engineering tasks and assignments in support of business needs • Perform engineering technology research, procurement, deployment, and configuration for new and modified systems • Provide technical leadership in the architecture discipline and development of information technology solutions• Present clear, organized and concise information to all audiences through a variety of media to enable effective business decisions • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience• Working knowledge of engineering discipline• Advanced database and presentation software skills• Advanced research, analytical, and problem solving skills• Advanced verbal and written communication skills• Advanced word processing and spreadsheet software skills• Effective organizational, planning and time management skills• Effective skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions• Effective skill guiding and training less experienced staff

Engineering role with expertise in the SIP protocol. Hands on experience in networking, building, testing, implementation, and support. Experience with at least two of these technologies. Oracle Session Border Controllers (SBC), Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) or Genesys.

Technical Qualifications• 5+ years hands on experiencing with the SIP protocol and analyzing call flows.• Telephony experience: Genesys, Cisco, Oracle and AT&T routing of Universal/International Toll-Free routing.• Experience integrating Oracle, Genesys, and Cisco Voice platforms. o Oracle SBC network design, configuration, support, and maintenance experience o Strong proficiency with CUCM, Unity, Cisco Emergency Responder, IM & Presence ,WebEx Teams, o Strong proficiency with Cisco CUCM dial peers, dial plans, SIP Trunking, and RTMT. o Strong Genesys framework experience (configuration and implementation) o Proficient in these Genesys tools, CCpulse , GAX (Genesys Administrator Extension), GA (Genesys Administrator) & Kazimir• Ability to comprehend, analyze, and research problems of a complex nature, make reasonable decisions, and recommend solutions• Ability to quickly adapt to changes in process, requirements, goals, and organizational change• Requires excellent communication skills, analytical ability, strong judgment and management skills, and the ability to work effectively with client and IT management and staff.• Improves systems by studying current practices, designing modifications. Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures.• Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.• Ability to learn and lead development of technical specifications• Provides engineering support for large-scale 24x7 operational environment, including off-hours

Desired Qualifications • Experience and knowledge with Microsoft Teams• Experience and knowledge with Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (Weekend and after-hours support may be required.)

Salary: Navy Federal Credit Union assesses market data to establish salary ranges that enable us to remaincompetitive. You are paid within the salary range, based on your experience, location and market position.

The salary range for this position is: $83,100 to $163,500 Annual
