Basic Purpose The Lending Platform Services team is looking for a senior technology manager to lead an engineering team responsible for delivering solutions in support of the Lending domain. In this role, you will own the product technology roadmap and will partner with stakeholders to strategize, enable and deliver technical products and capabilities.To serve as owner and subject matter expert for an assigned area delivering a designated service to the organization. To provide forward-looking, industry perspective and is responsible for the full lifecycle of the respective service including definition, execution, and governance. Manage Services of high complexity and low to medium maturity with Service Impact of medium to high breadth and depth. Works independently with no supervision and serve as a mentor to other Service Mangers. Partners with Vendor Management Office in contract analysis and competitive market assessment for vendor selection process. Provides actionable feedback to Resource and Vendor Managers to ensure expected performance to SLAs.>

Responsibilities:• Develop and define clear core work definitions, process flows and operating models; demonstrate the complete life cycle and capabilities of the Service Most• Lead multiple engineering teams. Accountable for end to end design, build, test, deployment and post production tier 3 support of product• Partner with the business Product Owner to drive the technology product roadmap• Establishes measurable team objectives and KPIs that are aligned with business and organizational goals• Guide and analyze benchmarking, trend analysis and other input to drive continuous improvement and elevate service performance • Bring external perspective and ideas from relevant sources, keep current with technology, government/policy impacts and industry best practices• Evaluates the performance and trends of assigned services to customers, including defined KPIs and SLAs and ensures service levels are achieved in line with SLAs and SLOs • Develops workforce strategy and resource plan (skills, competencies, team size) for each service • Build and maintain relationships with team members, management, key stakeholders and/or external contacts (vendors, etc.) • Perform benchmarking and trend analysis to incorporate continuous improvement or defined enhancements into the Service(s) functions • Partner with ISD Resource and Vendor Managers to ensure that the right resources (skills, competencies, team size) are available and obtainable• Provide constructive and actionable feedback to resources, Resource Managers and Vendor Managers to ensure expected performance and satisfy service SLAs • Ensures compliance with Navy Federal's ISD standards, practices and processes • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:• A Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other related field • Expert Knowledge of enterprise anchor platforms such as, Salesforce, Pega, Mulesoft and Microsoft Dynamics• Prior experience working on microservices and event driven architecture • Hands on experience implementing defense in depth security controls including OAuth 2.0, JWT• Deep technical expertise in Azure Platform as a Service (PaaS); Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS); Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)• Extensive experience in cloud native architectures and technologies (e.g., Containers, Continuous Integration and Delivery, API Management, B2B, B2C etc.)• Advanced skill in formulating a strategic vision and defining & implementing action plans to achieve strategic goals• Advanced knowledge of Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFE)• Experience in leading, guiding and coaching professional staff • Experience in resource allocation and management • Advanced verbal and written communication skills • Effective in producing desired results and achieving goals and objectives • Experience in working with all levels of staff, management, stakeholders, vendors • Effective skill presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives and information clearly and concisely • Advanced skill relationship building, negotiation and facilitation skills •

Desired - Knowledge of NFCU operations, processes and procedures•

Desired - Experience with agile delivery frameworks and Azure DevOps•

Desired - Advanced knowledge of banking/financial industry standards and practices

Salary: $144,100 - $202,400
