Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group is looking for an Altiris Systems Administrator to assist naval support teams with the integration, implementation and support of the Altiris Client Management Suite, Altiris Server Management Suite, and Altiris Asset Management Suite in naval education environments. Responsibilities:

  • Perform system administration activities, including monitoring and management of system continuity of operations, security, and managing operating systems
  • Facilitate compliance for lifecycle management including planning, implementation, maintenance, upgrades for enterprise hardware and software
  • Customize and maintain image deployment solutions for national defense
  • Deploy software packages to automate Microsoft and 3rd party software as well as application packaging installations targeted for automated deployment

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • High School diploma/GED
  • 2 years of experience with system administration using software that includes Microsoft (MS) Server 2016, 2012 RS, MS IIS 10.0, and Windows 10
  • Experience with Altiris Deployment Solutions
  • Experience with PowerShell and SQL Queries
  • Knowledge of application packaging technologies
  • Knowledge of software deployment
  • Ability to apply OS patches and upgrades using patch management software
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance
