Site Quality Assurance Manager (Navy Aviation)POSITION SUMMARY: PAE is seeking a Site Quality Assurance Manager for a position, pending contract award, to function as the Contractors Quality Assurance and Quality Management System (QMS) Lead with overall responsibility for all aspects of QA as required by contracted effort in Patuxent River, MD.RESPONSIBILITIES :- Serves as the primary interface and POC with Government and contractor authorities and squadron QA personnel in the execution of the principles, standards, and techniques of QA and the application of the contractors QMS to the contracts requirements which include applicable Federal, DOD, State, and Local regulations pertaining to aircraft maintenance and environment protection.
- The position may include management functions of Hazardous Materials, Ordnance, Training, Security, and general administrative support management.
- Formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources, but are too diverse and general in nature to be classified in any one functional area of management or administration, such as personnel, purchasing, or administrative services. Usually manage through subordinate supervisors.
- Plan, direct, or coordinate operations of public or private sector organizations, overseeing multiple departments or locations.
- Four years of recent experience in DOD Contractor services quality management.
- Six years of personnel supervision experience.
- Two years of NAVAIR experience.
- Two years management, administration, or operation of a hazardous materials/ waste program experience.
- Two years' experience supporting aircraft/ aircraft systems in DCMA 8210 or FAA standards.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large and diverse teams and effectively provide guidance, direction, and supervision of contracted effort such as quality control and compliance.
- Knowledge of the NAVAIRINST 3710.1G and or CNAFINST 4790.2.
- Knowledgeable of supply/ logistics policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated experience with CBA and management of a unionized workforce.
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to obtain and maintain and DoD Secret Clearance
